American 1 Teen Idol "Main Event"

American 1 Teen Idol is an annual singing competition for teens ages 13 to 19 which benefits the Jackson School of the Arts. Auditions are held in May and the top ten performers are selected to sing in front of crowds of specatators at the main event July 18, 2008 at the Riverwalk Amphitheatre in Jackson. All contestants must raise a minimum of $250 for the Jackson School of the Arts to be eligible to compete. The winner walks away with a $2,000 savings bond courtesy of American 1 Federal Credit Union and a trip voucher to an upcoming Fox Broadcasting American Idol audition city of their choice. This event is in no way affiliated with the Fox event and American 1 does not guarantee an audition in front American Idol judges. We supply the trip voucher, the rest is up to the winner.
