Grass Lake 09 Outboard Nationals


July 27 thru August 1, 2009

The Michigan Hydroplane Racing Association (NHRA) has selected Grass Lake as the site for its 2009 Stock Outboard National Championship event. This will be the first time in its 59 year history of Stock Outboard races that Michigan (lower peninsula) has held this event. The Stock Outboard National Championships is the largest outboard boat race held in North America. The event will draw over 350 entries from throughout the United States and Canada. Race teams from Washington, California, Oklahoma, Florida, Carolinas, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Wisconsin, and Illinois will all be in attendance. The event is expected to last for a week and will be the highlight of the 2009 Stock Outboard Racing season.
