Dear Fellow Jackson County Residents,
On behalf of the board and staff of The Salvation Army I would like to thank you for your tremendous support during our 2018 Christmas season. Our campaign slogan was, “Fighting for Good” and you helped us greatly in the fight against hunger and poverty experienced by those less fortunate in our community.
Your personal and business giving, whether in the form of dollars, volunteer hours or both, allowed us to supply 845 families representing 2,756 individuals with warm clothing, food, and toys for children. Not to mention the several families, organizations and businesses who personally adopted 24 families. You helped us ensure everyone had a special Christmas.
In addition, your dollars and change dropped into our iconic Red Kettles at area businesses propelled us past our goal to reach nearly $112,000 in support to our mission and cause. No matter the amount given, each one of you were on the winning side of the fight against poverty!
Thank you and may God bless you richly with His many blessings in 2019!
Yours in helping The Salvation Army help others…
