The future of art and innovation will once again come alive in downtown Jackson as TOPIA Art+Tech Festival announces its return for September 6, 2025, alongside a new strategic partnership with the Jackson Symphony Orchestra (JSO).
This partnership marks a major milestone in the festival’s evolution, solidifying TOPIA’s role as a catalyst for creative exploration, technological experimentation, and community enrichment. TOPIA transforms a space into a hub for immersive installations, live performances, and interactive experiences that blend art, sound, light, and innovation.

At the heart of the 2025 festival is the launch of the TOPIA Co/Lab, a groundbreaking program that brings together artists and technologists to collaboratively design large-scale, interactive works. Selected teams will receive a stipend, mentorship, and access to resources as they develop original installations aligned with the festival’s mission.
“TOPIA was created to inspire, to provoke curiosity, and to showcase what’s possible when art and technology collide,” said Jacqueline Austin, Festival Director. “Partnering with the JSO allows us to expand that vision—offering deeper musical and cultural experiences while building a future-forward festival that invites everyone to participate.”
As a free public festival located in Downtown Jackson, TOPIA 2025 will feature live music, artist-led workshops, sensory-rich installations, and interactive exhibits designed for all ages.
