Jackson First United Methodist Church Invites Community to Traditional Candlelight Christmas Eve Service Featuring Seasonal Music

Jackson, MI— Jackson First United Methodist Church warmly invites the community to celebrate Christmas Eve with a traditional Candlelight Service on Wednesday, December 24, a cherished gathering that brings together Scripture, song, and the timeless story of Christ’s birth.

From “Silent Night” sung by candlelight to the joyful sounds of “O Come, All Ye Faithful,” the evening’s music is designed to create a reflective, hope-filled atmosphere for all ages.

“Our Christmas Eve service is one of the most meaningful moments of the year,” said Torri Meunier; Director of Communications & Marketing. “There is something powerful about watching the sanctuary glow with candles and Christmas lights and to be surrounded in that light. It reminds us that the light of Christ still shines in our world—and that we carry that light together.”

The service will include Scripture readings, a Christmas message, traditional carols, and the candle lighting ceremony that has become a beloved tradition for many local families. All are welcome, whether long-time members or first-time guests.
