Top Teachers
Nomination
Each year, Jackson Magazine recognizes deserving K-12 Jackson County teachers, honoring those innovative educators who go above and beyond to make a difference in their students’ lives. Top Teachers will be announced in the May issue of the magazine.
To nominate a teacher, please complete the entire form. Please keep in mind that teachers must meet the following criteria to be considered for the award:
- Be currently employed as a full-time teacher in a K-12 classroom in a Jackson County, MI school.
- Have completed a minimum of five years of classroom teaching under either a Standard Teaching or ACA License prior to the school year in which the award is given.
Please note, Jackson Magazine does not inform teachers of the name(s) of the nominator(s).
The nomination deadline for the 2026 Top Teacher Awards program is October 10, 2025.
