Henry Ford Allegiance Health Foundation Provides Grant for Dahlem Wellness Stations

JACKSON, MI – (May 13, 2021) A collaboration between Henry Ford Allegiance Health and The Dahlem Conservancy recently added wellness signs along the Dahlem Center’s Nature for All Trail. The 3/8-mile paved trail provides access to outdoor experiences for all visitors, including those using walkers, wheelchairs or strollers. The new signs provide photos and instructions for light exercises, some of which incorporate elements of nature. These signs also include inspirational messages related to the mental health benefits of outdoor exercise.

Suzanne Harmon, Manager, Henry Ford Allegiance Sports Medicine Outreach, says, “This trail is a wonderful resource to families and individuals of all ages who want to enjoy nature while improving their physical fitness.”

Ben Dandrow, Executive Director, Dahlem Center, says, “We are grateful to Henry Ford Allegiance Health for their encouragement, support and beautiful signs. We hope they will be enjoyed throughout the year.”

The Dahlem Center is located in Jackson at 7117 S. Jackson Rd. Trails are open daily sunrise to sunset.
