The Jackson County Michigan Historical Society is proud to announce a significant initiative to expand access to local history resources in celebration of March is Reading Month. Thanks to the generous support of the L.H. Field Family Foundation, every high school, middle school, and college library, along with all 13 branches of the Jackson District Library, will receive a copy of each of the Society’s published works.
This initiative ensures that students, educators, and the community have greater access to valuable historical accounts of Jackson County’s past. The books being distributed include:
