Jackson, Mich. — The Jackson Breakfast Rotary Club is thrilled to announce the first-ever Jackson Breakfast Rotary Pickleball Tournament, set to take place during Rotary Day in the Park on Saturday, May 31 at 8 a.m. at Sparks County Park (Cascades) in Jackson.
· Open to players of all skill levels, the tournament invites the community to come together for a day of fun competition and philanthropy.
· This community-centered event marks the kickoff of an annual fundraiser designed to support ongoing Rotary service projects and charitable initiatives both locally and globally, including: reading programs, global water projects, disAbility Connections ramp building, and more.
· Other activities include local bands, food, a petting zoo, kids’ crafts, and games for the whole family.
“We’re excited to bring something new and active to Jackson while raising money for global and local initiatives,” said Barbara Southwell, event organizer and Jackson Breakfast Rotary member. “This is just the beginning of what we envision as a growing tradition each year.”
Rotary Day in the Park is more than just pickleball—it’s a celebration of Rotary’s mission to create lasting change in the world, one project at a time.
